Every year for the last several years, I've designed and edited
(and partly written) a daily convention newsletter for the
Norwescon science fiction convention. Recently I've been making
digitial versions as well. This is me posting them.
Run, RUNNER! had the unprinted motto of, "Pounding the
last nail into the last coffin of '70s futurism," and was,
as one might expect, inspired chiefly - though not exclusively -
by the movie Logan's Run, in which everyone lived lives of
pleasant happiness until being killed on their 30th birthday.
The 'zine itself is notable mostly for being the newsletter
of the 30th Norwescon, and for the fact that we had to do
some emergency work to find a new place to duplicate the Sunday
edition on short notice, as the Kinko's we've historically used
decided not to be open when we needed it anymore.
